So, how much
does it cost?
We charge $275.00 for a timeshare resale
closing, plus the cost of recording the
deed, and any resort transfer fees that
may apply. This includes obtaining
an estoppel letter, all document preparation
and recordation of the documents, safe
and secure escrow service, and advising
the resort of the change in ownership.
The recording fees are based upon the
County and State in which the property
is located, and sometimes based on the
sales price as well. Expedited E-recording
service is now available in some States
and Counties. The e-recording service
can save up to 30 days of processing time.
There is a $20 per document fee for the
e-recording service.If you contact our
office, we will be happy to give you the
exact recording fee for your particular
transaction. There are no other hidden
fees.
We handle timeshare closings in most States.
Fees for Hawaii timeshare closings are slightly higher. Please contact our office for details.
Fees for South Carolina timeshare closings are slightly higher, as we must coordinate the closing with a licensed South Carolina attorney. Please contact our office for details.
We can coordinate an Owner’s Title Insurance Policy for timeshares located in certain states. Please contact our office, if you would like a price quote for an Owner’s Title Insurance Policy. Title Insurance is not required.
If you are selling a deeded timeshare, we must be provided with a copy of your prior recorded deed. If you do not have your recorded deed, and you would like our office to obtain a copy of your recorded deed, the fee for the deed research is $25.00.
We also offer “escrow only” service for $100.00. If you choose this option, we would not be preparing the transfer paperwork. The seller and buyer would coordinate any required transfer documents, and our office would hold the funds in our escrow account, until the buyer notifies our office that the timeshare has been transferred into their name. At that time, we would release the sales proceeds to the seller.
